This Milodon oil pan is optimized for the needs of 4x4 and off road use where an ample supply of lubricant needs to be maintained while crossing all kinds of radical terrain. Special horizontal baffles subdue the power robbing movement of the oil in the pan, providing more consistent oil pressure, and moving the sump to the rear adds additional 4WD differential clearance. The pan holds 8 quarts (plus filter), and the sump measures 6-1/2 inches deep in the front and 10 inches deep in the rear. The pan also features a factory style fitting to attach the factory screw-in dipstick tube.
