They’re designed for serious use, while still being easy to install and adjust.Solid Steel ConstructionThe housings are made from zinc-plated steel measuring approx. .080" thick and include an integrated ledger that hooks under the workpiece. This design helps carry the load through the leveler, not the screws. The wide ledger also allows fasteners to be installed upward into the bottom of the leg, helping keep everything secure when moving or repositioning the bench.Wide Adjustment RangeEach leveler uses a 3/8" threaded shaft with an adjustment range from about 3/16" to 2-1/4". The 1-1/4" diameter feet can swivel up to 20 degrees, making it easier to deal with uneven or sloped floors.Easy to Dial InAdjustments can be made from the top of the shaft using the included 5mm hex wrench. When access from above is limited, the included open-end wrench allows adjustments to be made from below.Durable Nylon Foot DesignThe foot features a nylon base that is permanently bonded to the metal. • INTEGRAL LEDGER - This feature ensures that the load is carried by the leveler, not the screws, but our design does so much more. Since our ledger is extra deep, there's room for 2 screws that come up from the bottom. Next time you need to drag that heavy work bench across the shop floor, you'll be glad that we thought of this detail!
• 4 MEANS OF ADJUSTMENT – Adjustments are easily made from the top with the included 5mm hex wrench, but if access is a bit tight, we’ve got you covered. Just use the included open end wrench and turn the leveler via the integral hex bolt at the bottom of the shaft.
• LOCKNUTS INCLUDED - Once you've made your adjustments, you want them to STAY that way, right? That's why locknuts are an absolute MUST for the workshop or garage, especially if any vibrating machinery is involved. Level - tighten - DONE!
• A SWIVELING FOOT THAT IS BETTER IN EVERY WAY - The 1 3/16" diameter of our feet does a great job in spreading the load, but that's just the start! Check out the nylon base that's integrally bonded to the metal (rather than some cheap plastic cap that's likely to pop off after looking at it sideways). In addition, the ball-end of the stem fits neatly into a perfectly matched nylon socket. This further prevents vibration while allowing the leveler to tilt up to 20 degrees!
